Clinical and Molecular Genetics unit, Hospital Vall d’Hebron

Research Scientist in Human Genetics at Clinical and Molecular Genetics unit of Hospital Vall d’Hebron, Barcelona. She obtained her PhD in 2003 focused in the study of the molecular bases of Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Her main research focus during her Postdoc stage was the study of genetic bases involved in neurodevelopmental disorders, with high expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorders. She also obtained a Postgraduate in Bioinformatics in 2014 at UOC University. She participates as associate professor in Human Genetics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and as a coordinator of the Master's Degree in Medical Genetics at Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona.
